Ever since watching Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Josh has been into being a clown... It is from the last scene of the film where they are pretending to be toys. Aivis made him a nose from one of his special treat chocolate eggs with small presents in - Kinder surprises.



He got a bit obssessed with it during the Song and Dance festival procession... We kept him from wearing it most of the time, so in this shot it was in his pocket! But here we see the wonder of watching his first Song and Dance festival!

Josh has been a bit obsessed recently with the film "Fly away home", a Canadian film about a flock of geese which get left without a mother and a girl 'adopts' them and then flies them to their migration destination using a small kind of plane looking like a goose! Anyway, somewhere in this film there must be a winter scene with them making a snowman because all this week he has been asking if there will be snow. Aivis has been saying ''Yes'', thinking that in winter it will be here, but Josh got convinced that it would be here the next day and he kept getting disappointed.
Today we went to the beach and a solution was found to our dilema...


A group of cyclists went by and one woman commented - oh look, a snowman made of sand! Her cycling companion replied - No, a sand man! So here is our intermediate solution until winter...
